Pitch us

Building something nobody has written about?

We report on founders the big publications do not reach. If that is you, tell us the hardest thing that has happened to the company — that is usually where the story is.

Before you write

The pitches that work tell us about a specific moment that went badly, and attach a number to it. The ones that do not are announcements — a launch, a hire, a round.

We read everything and we cannot reply to everything. If we want to take it further you will hear from us within 30 days.

Not sure whether your company is the sort we cover? Read a few recent stories first — they are all we are looking for.

Send us the whole thing

Fifteen to twenty minutes, and it covers everything we need to write the story and build your company’s page — the founders, the numbers, the funding, and photographs. Short answers are fine.

Open the submission form ↗

You will need to be signed in to a Google account, because the form takes photographs. Nothing is published from it automatically — we read every submission, and you see the draft before anyone else does.

Or just say hello first

Not ready for all that, or nowhere near your photographs? Tell us the short version and we will come back to you.

The place you actually work from, not where the company is registered.
A specific moment, not a general struggle. This is the question that decides whether there is a story.
Be honest. Every company has something broken, and a story without it reads like publicity.
Revenue, customers, team size — anything concrete, with a date.
